We were also undergoing a major remodel of the kitchen at the time and he built on our plan there to define the space and ensure it flowed well. Joshua excels in the use of texture, color, light, style and accessorizing including the selection of art. He is patient, thoughtful, and communicates clearly. His follow up is fabulous. He even gave specific direction on paint selection and instructions (including where exactly to put everything). He volunteered to answer questions post final approval which we very much appreciate. My taste runs to maximalist, eclectic decor, with a heavy dose of antiques and contrasting ethnic pieces — not necessarily what I think he’d choose for himself, but he threw himself into designing my living room with tremendous zest. I’m very hands-on, and like to be involved in the nitty-gritty details, but need to be restrained and told when I’m going overboard. Joshua managed that task admirably, matching a fabulous antique red altar table with spectacular modern lamps, while simultaneously pulling me away from wallpaper that would have been too much.”

““The entire process was easy, convenient, and fun. Our designer, Joshua, was very responsive and truly listened to us. We didn’t have much of an idea of what we wanted for our master bedroom and living room before we started, but Joshua gave us a bunch of designs to review to get us started and get a feel for our style. From there, it was a very collaborative, back-and-forth process and truly was a fun experience. If we didn’t like an item or wanted a similar item at a lower price point, Joshua would send 3 possible options to replace that item, while staying true to the design. All of the pieces he found were high quality.”
