Curios - Only for Grandma?

Curios - Only for Grandma?

Dear Joshua,

I love to travel and collect all sorts of little knick knacks in my travels. I’d love a place to store and display them. I was thinking of a curio cabinet, but every time I think of that I think of the one my grandma had in her house displaying her collection of cow related items (don’t ask). They just seem very outdated. Any ideas on modern curios or other solutions?

Thanks!

Hi Jennelle,

I totally get that your idea of a curio is an old-fashioned dated piece of yesteryear. While sometimes those can be beautiful, especially if they came from grandmas house and have sentimental value, they don’t always blend well into a modern home nowadays. Don’t be dismayed though, as there are quite a number of curio, or also frequently now called display cabinet, options out there in a range of styles. I’ve put together a selection….a curio of curios…..below and hopefully one of them fits the bill for what you’re looking for.

Warmly,

Joshua Jones
