It’s a new year and decade now. That means it is a great time to think about updating the look of your nook. I am recently inspired by the mix of Scandinavian and Bohemian styles so I designed this modern boho style nook for our latest Joshua’s Top Picks collection.

What I love about this modern boho style nook design is the mixture of natural materials, making it feel cozy and homey. It’s a great place to get together with family or friends to enjoy a meal or have a game night together. It’s also functional for your everyday morning coffee and breakfast, a quick lunch, or a place for kids to do homework.
I’m obsessed with black accent walls; they work fabulously with different materials and lighter neutrals to help balance the entire nook look. I dig the pillows I selected for the banquette since it adds the personality to the design and they are comfortable. Lastly, you should add either live plants to the space to create a life.
