Ask Joshua - I'm in love with the credenza but I don't love the hardware on it

Hi Joshua,

I was on the hunt for a new credenza for my home for months and I finally found a credenza that is much closer to what I have in mind for my home. The problem? I really hate the hardware on it. The finish is all wrong for what I want. I’m at loss how to make it work for my home. Please advise.

I totally feel you about the challenge of finding a perfect piece and then having one part of it not quite what you want. Good news, is this particular issue is really easy to fix. While the credenza you found isn’t perfect out of the box, just change the hardware to something you’ll like better.

See the photo-realistic 3D rendering image above? That is an example of a sideboard I selected for one of our e-design projects that was perfect for this space but the original hardware was all wrong for the design. I changed it and voila…now it works!!
